Placements and work schedules are determined based on school need in our elementary, middle, and/or high school settings. This position does not require a Wisconsin teaching license, but applicants with a music degree are preferred. ; ; A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) TMI provides instruction for students which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level. The educational program is offered in an equitable, multi-cultural setting and teaches all children to think deeply, critically and creatively. The TMI's work supports the MPS strategic plan. Valid State of Wisconsin Motor Vehicle operator's license and availability of properly insured personal vehicle at time of appointment and throughout employment required. Travel required. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule The Traveling Music Instructor hourly wage range starts at $27.72 per hour. Placements and work schedules are determined based on school need in our elementary, middle, and/or high school settings.
