This contract opportunity allows you to provide specialized physical education services to students at three non-public schools, each uniquely supporting learners with diverse needs. With a schedule of 20 hours per week, youll provide vital instructional minutes, assessments, and IEP participation, ensuring students receive the best possible support throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

Valid credential in Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Experience working with students with diverse needs in school settings Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and goal-setting Strong organizational skills to manage both makeup and regular instructional minutes Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Availability for onsite work exclusively (no virtual sessions) Ability to travel between school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver adaptive physical education instruction for small caseloads at Canyon View (San Dimas), Villa Esperanza (Pasadena), and Chino Spectrum (Chino Hills) Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for student programs Accurately document sessions, assessments, and progress Maintain a flexible approach in meeting individual student needs, including makeup sessions as required Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and growth
