Pacific Truck Center is looking for a highly experienced automotive technician with excellent diagnostic skills to join our shop in Fontana. We work primarily on work trucks, commercial vehicles, and vans. We need someone who can diagnose problems independently, find the actual cause, and complete the repair correctly from start to finish. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced technician—not someone who only performs basic maintenance or replaces parts based on codes. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and check-engine-light issues Troubleshoot difficult and intermittent problems Perform engine repairs and engine replacements Repair brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, fuel, electrical, and related systems Inspect vehicles and accurately identify needed repairs Work on work trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles Communicate diagnoses and needed parts clearly Complete repairs correctly and efficiently Qualifications 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability is a must Must be able to diagnose vehicles independently using scan data, testing, and proper troubleshooting—not guesswork Experience with major mechanical and engine repairs Must have your own professional tools Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Valid driver's license Experience with Ford, Chevrolet/GMC, Ram, work trucks, vans, or commercial vehicles is a strong plus Diesel experience is a plus, but not required ASE certifications are a plus, but not required Who We're Looking For We want a technician who wants to understand why a vehicle is having a problem before replacing parts. Pay:

From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
