What you bring:

Valid California teaching credential in Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Experience in planning and implementing adaptive physical education programs Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a passion for student-centered instruction Commitment to supporting a diverse population of learners in an inclusive educational setting Availability to work onsite only for 35 hours per week during the school year Key responsibilities: Design and deliver adaptive physical education instruction based on students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess student abilities and develop strategies to enhance motor skills and physical development Travel between assigned sites to provide instruction and support, maintaining strong relationships with each school community Consult with special education teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings This role offers a competitive pay rate of $63-$67 per hour, with employment in compliance with all local and state requirements, including applicable employer contributions.
