This contract opportunity covers the full school year, from August 31, 2026, to June 10, 2027, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact in several vibrant educational communities. You'll collaborate as the third teacher in a specialized team, ensuring a balanced and manageable schedule. Schools will be divided among the teachers, reducing the need to travel between sites within a single day, helping you focus on quality interaction with your students. With a consistent 30 hours per week, you'll have time to create engaging, adaptive programs tailored to diverse learners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid DAPE (Developmental Adapted Physical Education) License is required Experience teaching adaptive physical education or related fields Strong understanding of inclusive physical education strategies and individualized instructional planning Excellent communication and collaboration skills Compassionate, adaptable, and able to inspire students with varying abilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Design and deliver adaptive physical education lessons in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student progress and adjust activities to meet physical and developmental needs Communicate regularly with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Create a positive, supportive environment that encourages all students to participate and succeed Maintain clear records of student attendance, participation, and performance This contract role is perfect for professionals who thrive on variety while valuing structure and student connection.
