Key Qualifications:

Valid license or certification to teach Adaptive Physical Education Experience implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt curriculum and activities for a wide range of physical and developmental abilities across K-12 settings Organizational skills to manage scheduling and documentation for multi-site service delivery

Responsibilities:

Assess students physical education needs and design adaptive instruction to promote participation and achievement Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement IEP goals Monitor progress and adjust programming as needed Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding adaptive physical education best practices Provide physical education services at two school locations, consistently following an agreed-upon schedule
