Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher in the Fridley, MN area. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. Why Join Us Competitive pay ($55-58/hour) W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits• + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses Mentorship and ongoing support from school-based professionals What You'll Do Develop individualized adapted physical education (APE) goals aligned with students' IEPs Plan and teach modified physical activities that improve motor skills, coordination, strength, and fitness Adapt equipment, games, and instruction so students can safely and successfully participate Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students' physical development and inclusion Monitor student progress, documents outcomes, and adjusts instruction to help students meet their goals What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Education or Related Field Active Minnesota DAPE license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
