Head of Early Childhood Education Location:

Wilmington, DE | Full-Time | Exempt Position Summary Seeking an experienced early childhood leader to oversee the strategy, operations, quality, and growth of Montessori-based early childhood programs. This role will lead staff, curriculum implementation, compliance, family engagement, partnerships, and program outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve early childhood programs and services. Oversee Montessori curriculum and program quality. Recruit, supervise, coach, and develop staff. Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements. Monitor program outcomes, documentation, and reporting. Support budgets, grants, contracts, and resource management. Build relationships with families, schools, and community partners. Lead staff meetings and professional development. Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Education Leadership, or related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in early childhood education. Must meet Delaware Early Childhood Administrator requirements. Montessori experience strongly preferred; MACTE credential a plus. DEEDS Early Childhood Administrator certification or ability to obtain within 45 days. First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 45 days. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
