Duties Provide visionary leadership to create a welcoming and enriching environment that promotes early childhood development and learning. Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with educational best practices and regulatory standards. Manage daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth center functioning. Lead staff recruitment, supervision, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development facilitation in early childhood education. Oversee budgeting processes, manage financial resources effectively, and ensure fiscal responsibility for the center's programs. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare licensing, health & safety standards, and special education law. Cultivate relationships with families through transparent communication, parent engagement initiatives, and community outreach efforts such as fundraising activities. Conduct faculty evaluations focusing on instructional leadership in education and classroom experience to maintain high-quality teaching standards. Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality, expand services, and support continuous improvement efforts. Supervise school staff including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff to foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in childhood education. Experience Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a director within early childhood care center. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood or preschool-aged children. Strong background in managing budgets as an executive education administrator with experience in managing funds for educational programs. Extensive supervisory experience including personnel management in education environments with a focus on team leadership and faculty evaluation. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations including special education law and childhood development standards. Experience facilitating professional development sessions for school staff to promote instructional leadership and best practices in classroom management. Familiarity with school legal requirements related to early childhood education programs and operational safety protocols. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, community partners, and regulatory agencies. Classroom experience working directly with young children that informs your leadership approach in early childhood settings.
