Director of The Children's Center at St. AndrewPart-Time | Approximately 32.5 Hours Per Week Reports to: Senior Pastor About The Children's Center at St. Andrew The Children's Center at St. Andrew is more than a childcare program. We are looking for a Director who will help us continue building a nurturing, engaging, and welcoming community for children, families, and staff. About the Position The Children's Center at St. Andrew (TCC) is seeking a caring, organized, and strong leader to serve as our Part-Time Director. The Director will oversee the daily operations and educational program of TCC, supporting our teachers, children, and families. Our core learning day is 9:00 AM-3:00 PM , with Before Care beginning at 7:30 AM and After Care ending at 6:00 PM . The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, supporting teachers, staying organized, and helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment. Typical Schedule Approximately 32.5 hours per week , Monday through Friday. The typical schedule will focus primarily on the core learning day, with flexibility to work an opening or closing shift and attend meetings, events, training, or inspections as needed. What You'll DoLead and Support Our Staff Support, supervise, and encourage teachers and staff. Help create a positive and professional team environment. Assist with staff schedules, training, and development. Address concerns and help solve problems as they arise. Make Sure Learning Is Happening Visit classrooms regularly. Support teachers and Team Leads. Ensure children are participating in meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences. Help maintain a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment. Keep TCC Safe and Organized Help ensure safety procedures and policies are followed. Oversee required documentation and records. Prepare for inspections and safety drills. Help ensure classrooms and common areas are safe and ready for children. Support Children and Families Build positive relationships with children and families. Help answer parent questions and address concerns. Welcome prospective families and assist with enrollment. Support family events and engagement opportunities. Help TCC Grow Support enrollment and retention. Conduct tours for prospective families. Help promote TCC in the community. Work with church leadership to continue strengthening and growing the program. Our Leadership Team The Director will work alongside Team Leads, teachers, and support staff. Our Team Leads have classrooms and provide additional leadership and support within the program. The Director provides overall leadership and is not expected to manage every task alone. Before Care and After Care have designated staff responsible for the day-to-day supervision of those extended-care periods.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Caring and committed to children and families. Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable leading, supporting, and developing staff. A strong communicator with parents, teachers, and church leadership. Able to solve problems calmly and make sound decisions. Committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Preferred Qualifications Three to five years of experience as a Preschool Director, Assistant Director, or in a comparable early childhood leadership role preferred. Education or training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field strongly preferred. Experience supervising and supporting teachers and staff. Experience working with young children and families. Knowledge of preschool operations, child safety, and developmentally appropriate practices. Experience with enrollment, family communication, scheduling, and program operations is a plus. Pay:

$37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
