Full-Time We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Center Director professional to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced childcare environment, takes initiative, and is passionate about maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Texas childcare regulations, and the flexibility to support all areas of center operations. Responsibilities Support the Director with the daily operation of the childcare center. Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards . Maintain and support Texas Rising Star (TRS) standards and documentation. Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and daily time management. Open and close the center as needed. Supervise staff and provide leadership and coaching. Transport children safely by driving the center bus when required. Communicate professionally with families, staff, and state representatives. Help maintain children's files, staff records, and licensing documentation. Assist during licensing inspections and quality assurance visits. Step into classrooms when necessary to maintain ratios and support the team. Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center. Minimum 1 years of management or leadership experience in early childhood education. Child Care Director Credential (REQUIRED) CDA (Child Development Associate) required. Strong knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing regulations. Experience working with Texas Rising Star (TRS) preferred. Experience working with Food program. Experience creating staff schedules and managing daily center operations. Ability to drive the center bus (or willingness to become qualified if required). Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Professional, dependable, flexible, and able to multitask. Must be willing to work opening and closing shifts as needed. Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with the entire team. Requirements Professional references are required and will be verified. Must pass all required background checks. Must meet all state requirements for employment in a licensed childcare center.
