00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Gym membership Full Job Description Job Overview Helena Health Club is hiring a dependable, upbeat, and caring team member for our Kidz Club area. This is a FLEX POSITION and will rotate among weekday mornings, evenings, and Saturday mornings. As staffing needs develop, the position may transition into a more consistent schedule. Our mission is to make sure our children are safe and have fun for the time they are with us at the club. You will care for and supervise children ranging from newborns through 11 years of age, in a small childcare setting. Candidates must be able to work a mix of the following shift windows . You will not necessarily work every shift listed each week. Schedules and Saturday rotations will be communicated in advance.

Schedule Shifts AM Shift:

Monday

• Friday 8:00am
• 11:00am

PM Shift:

Monday

• Thursday 4:00pm
• 8:00pm Saturday Rotation (8:00am
• 12:00pm)

What You Will Do:

Examples of Essential Functions:

Be constantly alert. Enthusiastic and engaging with the children and parents. Dependable and reliable with time and responsibilities. Capable of taking care of, talking to, listening, watching, and interacting with various age groups of children for various periods of time. Greet children and parents when they arrive and leave. Assist children and babies with daily tasks. Organize and initiate activities. Monitor and control behavior of the children. Maintain patience and energy throughout shift. Ability to communicate effectively with parents/members, co-workers, management, and children. Daily cleaning. Organize, store, and sanitize all play equipment, daily. What We Are Looking For Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation and strong follow-through. Friendly, energetic, patient, and genuinely comfortable working with children of different ages. Able to care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in the same setting. Able to sit on the floor, stand, bend, and lift or carry young children as needed. Willing to complete required employment and background screening and maintain any required safety certifications. Prior childcare, daycare, preschool, church nursery, camp, coaching, or babysitting experience is preferred but not required.

• We will consider applicants with limited to no experience in our particular setting, so long as they have had babysitting experience.
