9582465-35080 Job Description A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a contract role serving elementary students. You'll play an integral part in helping young learners achieve their communication goals across one or two school sites, with an organized start in August and support from a collaborative team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Alabama SLP license required Valid

ALSDE SLP

Certification essential Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology School-based SLP experience or comfort working in educational settings Strong communication and rapport-building skills Ability to adapt across elementary grade levels and collaborate with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing evaluations Provide both direct and consultative speech therapy across assigned sites Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth This position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with a manageable caseload to be determined before the school year. Youll work 28 hours per week, across 4-5 days weekly, making a significant impact while enjoying a balanced schedule. Compensation for this position ranges from $45 to $50 per hour.
