The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role will get training on classroom management skills, curriculum development, and applying childhood development principles. The Preschool Director will serve as a role model and mentor for qualified teachers and ensure that educational standards are met in accordance with state regulations and best practices in early childhood education. Duties Maintain overall responsibility for children's safety and state-required ratios Run classroom activities, lessons, and structured play under provided instructio. Read stories, songs, and guide children learning. Manage classroom transitions (classroom, playground, snack, bathroom, etc.) Provide behavior guidance and one-on-one support when needed Supervise outdoor play and ensure safe equipment use Respond to emergencies or accidents and communicate with parents as needed Support pick-up and drop-off Qualifications 6 ECE units or qualifications preferred (per state licensing requirements)
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
