In this role, you will design engaging, developmentally appropriate music programs that foster a love for the arts while supporting childhood development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a joyful learning environment where children can explore their musical talents, express themselves creatively, and build foundational skills in a fun and nurturing setting. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood developmental stages, incorporating music Lead interactive music sessions that include singing, instrument playing, movement, and rhythm exercises to enhance motor skills and auditory development Manage classroom environments effectively by establishing routines, maintaining positive behavior management strategies, and ensuring safety at all times Plan engaging lessons that integrate various arts disciplines while aligning with childhood development milestones Skills Strong background in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education Proven experience working with children in preschool or youth programs, demonstrating patience and adaptability Expertise in musical instruments, singing, performing, or dance Skilled in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment and support behavior management Knowledge of childhood development principles to create age-appropriate activities that stimulate growth across multiple domains Ability to design lesson plans that incorporate creative arts instruction such as singing, instrument playing, choreography, photography, or culinary arts as relevant Experience in tutoring or adult education settings is a plus for engaging diverse learners effectively North County Music Academy offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians.
