$16.90/hour About the Role We are looking for a Sterilization Assistant to join our dental team in Encinitas, California. This is an entry-level opportunity and a great way to begin a career in the dental field. No previous dental experience is required. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and interested in learning about dental care, we'd love to hear from you. We will cover the cost of the required 8-hour Infection Control course for the right candidate. What You'll Do Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Prepare and organize instruments and treatment rooms Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked sterilization area Assist the clinical team with sterilization and operatory turnover Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records Follow all office safety and infection prevention procedures Support the dental team with additional clinical tasks as needed Assist with administrative and front-office duties as needed Provide general support to the clinic team to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations What We're Looking For No prior dental experience required Entry-level candidates are welcome Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable assisting with both clinical and administrative tasks Willingness to complete an 8-hour Infection Control course , which will be paid for by us Dental Assistant certification is not required for this position, subject to applicable California requirements Why Join Us?
