Overview:
CAPMC is seeking a strategic and creative person to be responsible for performing the necessary duties to assist the implementation of the parenting program designed to improve family relationships and develop parenting and family life skills. Works as a team member with other program staff and volunteers in creating safe and structured parent program; is responsible for snack preparation, and the care and cleaning of childcare areas.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT / HEALTH SERVICES
Provides childcare services to infants, toddlers and preschoolers (aged 0 to 5). Supports and engages children with positive responsive interactions. Provides aged appropriate activities for children and keeps them engaged. Purchases and prepares food for families in the program. Assists children in their personal hygiene (e.g., toileting, hand washing, cleanliness). Works with parents and volunteers in classroom and other program activities. Maintains a healthy, safe and clean environment (wipes down/disinfects furniture, toys, removal of any hazardous items and equipment).
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Follows the program model to create a safe, nurturing environment for children and parents/families. Enters daily activities and maintains the Outlook calendar current with tasks and share with Supervisor and other program personnel. Communicates any programs updates, changes and/or concerns with supervisor. Assists in gathering program data and provides input in the development of reports. Assists with the collection, tracking, and reporting attendance to required funding source and/or other reporting requirements. Participates in the review and analyze family survey outcomes, engagement, enrollment and attendance data for planning and recommendations for program improvement and professional development. Works closely with Family Skill Instructors to prepare class schedules, materials, contacting/registering families, prepares reports, and other tasks as needed. EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED. Some child development related units or equivalent training. Some experience working with infant and toddler children.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATES / PERMITS
Possess Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification and update bi-annually.

$18.40
