Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Monitor and record children's progress, behavior, and development
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in children
Requirements:
- Previous experience in early childhood education, or daycare setting
- Knowledge of preschool and school age curriculum, and childhood development
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide emotional support to children
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
