Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and progress. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies for children with special needs or additional support requirements. Skills Extensive experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of child development instruction principles across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards; experience with literacy education and math integration is highly desirable. Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and documentation purposes. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare policies. Certification in first aid and CPR; understanding of mandated reporting laws is essential. Experience teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development; background in standardized testing or tutoring is a plus.
