Job Overview:
Do you love working with children? Lettuce Patch Early Learning Center is a new large, licensed child care center opening in Avon! We are looking for great teachers to join our team! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teachers and Toddler Teachers to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Duties:
  • Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child
  • Foster social skills through group activities and playtime
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in childcare, or related fields
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus
  • Ability to engage and educate young children effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • First aid certification is preferred
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs is a plus
  • Ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
