Job Description
Little Bear's is looking for a Loving & Energetic Daycare Teacher for our amazing INFANT (6 wk - 12mo) , to engage with and enjoy young children, by easing them into the beautiful world around them. We are proud to say our team and children learn and play together!
Shift:
8:30am - 5:30 pm (1 hr lunch) Working with children this age, you will guide them through songs, motor skills, infant art/ sensory exploration, music, and social experiences such as feelings that they will make little steps and big bonds with you! Our teaching teams and the people who work at Little Bear's must have a great love and patience for children. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education. - Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to guide our infant through amazing experiences and health schedules.
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-awareness skills
- Encourage children to interact with each other positively.
- Guide children to develop their motor and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Collaborate with other educators/ maintain a loving family-like environment.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Skills
