Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through innovative lesson planning and classroom management. Responsibilities:

Plan and execute engaging, age appropriate activities. Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment, ensuring safety and well-being at all times. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support each child's individual learning plan. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations. Skills Knowledge of childhood development, classroom management, and behavior management always a plus. Proven ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members. Experience working in childcare, or similar environments is preferred.

Requirements:

Ensure health and safety of children during program hours. Develop positive relationships with the families that we serve. Communicate daily with supervisors, other teachers and parents in a positive, professional manner at all times. All other duties as needed and assigned. Must be able to lift children from 10-40 lbs Complete training for self-according to the state regulations of 1% per year of time worked. Assist in daily cleaning A positive attitude Problem solving skills Reliable and consistent Complete all mandated training within the center Complete all required paperwork before training period ends
