This position is responsible for teaching basic concepts and routine structure as well as organizing fun and playful activities for the children. The ideal candidate will have experience with young children, enjoy working with a team, and be capable of demonstrating patience while dealing with a variety of personalities.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, and supervise teachers and other instructional and administrative staff. Plan curriculum for the school's daycare and preschool programs. Plan, coordinate, and prepare for classroom activities. Attend meetings with parents to discuss and resolve concerns about their children. Attend meetings with teachers to discuss curriculum, administrative procedures, and staff problems. Coordinate the collection of fees from parents. Supervise and schedule children during their stay at the school. Complete necessary reports and prepare budget proposals. Prepare and submit grant applications. Perform professional development activities. Be familiar with the state laws related to preschools.,.
