Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate educational programs focusing on childhood development and early learning concepts Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care tasks for infants and toddlers Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and early childhood education principles Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or similar emergency response training is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Passion for nurturing young minds through teaching experience with young children or babysitting/nannying roles Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
