Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher for our one-year-old class to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment tailored specifically for infants. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for each child's developmental journey while ensuring their well-being and happiness. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Supervise and engage with toddlers during play, meal times, naps, and diapering routines to ensure safety and comfort. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports child safety and learning objectives. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being are prioritized at all times. Administer first aid or pediatric first aid as needed, responding swiftly to any emergencies. Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans that support children with special needs or disabilities. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training encouraged. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members while maintaining professionalism. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
