Little Caterpillar Childcare is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Lead VPK Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year! We're more than just a childcare center—we're a close-knit team that believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We're looking for someone who loves making learning fun and wants to make a lasting impact in the lives of young children. What You'll Do Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate VPK lessons. Create a positive, nurturing, and organized classroom environment. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development. Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom. Complete required documentation and assessments. Work collaboratively with administration and teaching staff.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Passionate about early childhood education. Dependable and reliable. Positive, energetic, and creative. Organized with strong classroom management skills. A team player with excellent communication skills. Committed to helping every child succeed. Preferred Qualifications Florida VPK credentials or the ability to meet VPK requirements. CDA, FCCPC, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required). Current DCF training (required). Experience teaching preschool or VPK preferred.
