We Rock the Spectrum - Tequesta & Royal Palm Beach, FL We Rock the Spectrum is seeking experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teachers to join our early childhood education program. We are currently hiring for two part-time positions at two separate locations: Tequesta Monday, Wednesday & Friday Approximately 8:30 AM-1:30 PM Royal Palm Beach Tuesday & Thursday Approximately 8:30 AM-1:30 PM These are consistent, part-time weekday positions with no evening hours . About the Position This is a Lead Teacher position , not a babysitting or general childcare role. We are specifically seeking mature, experienced educators who are comfortable independently leading a preschool classroom and taking ownership of the daily program. Our ideal candidate has previous experience in early childhood education, child development, preschool, or classroom teaching and understands how to create a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. Responsibilities The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for: Leading daily classroom instruction and activities Implementing age-appropriate educational lessons Lesson planning and preparation Preparing crafts, worksheets, learning centers, and classroom activities Managing classroom routines and transitions Maintaining an organized, clean, and well-prepared classroom Managing classroom materials and supplies Communicating professionally with parents regarding their child's day and progress Working collaboratively with ownership and other teachers Creating a positive, structured, and welcoming environment for all children Supporting children with a variety of learning styles and abilities Qualifications Applicants must: Be at least 21 years old Have previous experience in early childhood education, early childhood development, preschool education, or classroom teaching Have experience independently managing or leading a classroom Be dependable, organized, professional, and punctual Be comfortable communicating directly with parents Be able to plan, prepare, and execute age-appropriate lessons and activities Have strong classroom management skills Enjoy working with young children while maintaining appropriate structure and expectations Education or credentials in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field are strongly preferred.
