Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early intervention strategies into daily lessons. Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenges effectively. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student development and incidents. Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored to young learners. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention methods. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or child welfare are a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Prior experience teaching physical education or integrating movement into classroom activities is advantageous.
