Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social-emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards Administer first aid or pediatric first aid as needed, responding promptly to any injuries or health concerns Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development in early childhood education Skills Proven experience working with infants and young children in daycare or preschool settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices Excellent classroom management skills to create a nurturing yet structured environment Ability to effectively communicate with parents, children, and team members to foster positive relationships Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for infants and toddlers Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience with classroom supervision, activity planning, and child supervision techniques Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for early childhood education transforms lives.
