Job Description

Job Overview Church Nursery Worker, dedicated and nurturing to create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our youngest members. Qualified and dedicated applicants will go through a screening and interview. Responsibilities Supervise children in the nursery area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and spiritual growth Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting nursery environment in compliance with safety standards Follow our church's Safe Sanctuaries policy to ensure safety and quality care Assist with diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed during nursery hours Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth nursery operations Requirements Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or childcare centers Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team coordination Understanding best practices for child supervision and willing to learn and implement our church's Safe Sanctuaries policy This position is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about supporting children's growth within a faith-based setting. Pay:
From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 per week
