Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Infant/Toddler Float to join our vibrant team! As a Float, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for infants and toddlers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to bring your childcare expertise to a variety of classrooms, promote positive developmental experiences, and contribute to our center's lively atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide flexible coverage across multiple infant and toddler classrooms, stepping in wherever needed to support staff and maintain continuity of care Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate activities Foster a safe, nurturing environment by supervising children closely and managing behavior effectively Support classroom management by helping implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood development principles Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and shared spaces Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Requirements Background Check (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Join us at Pierce Park Academy where your passion for early childhood education makes a meaningful difference! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
