Job Description

Child Care Teacher Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
Position Summary:
Provides a safe, stimulating environment for young children. Creates and implements activities and lesson plans that simultaneously engage and educate children.
Responsibilities:
Incorporates child development using a child's natural inclination to play Conducts individual and group activities to encourage learning and develop social interaction skills Provides diverse basic care needs, including preparing and supplying proper nutrition, performing cleaning duties and dealing with behavioral issues Communicate with parents to discuss a child's educational development Maintains appropriate records of attendance and activities Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred Teacher/Care Provider license issued by the City of Coeur d'Alene within 10 days of hire CPR/AED/First Aid for the Adult, Child and Infant required
Working Conditions:
