Job Description
St. Mark's Child Care and Preschool in Washington is seeking a DCFS qualified teacher to join our team. Qualifications for Early Childhood Lead Teachers in Illinois - Must be at least 19 years old - Must meet the minimum education requirements listed below Must have 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credit from an accredited college or university with 6 hours (or 9 quarter hours) in courses related directly to child care and/or child development OR 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credit from an accredited college or university with 6 hours (or 9 quarter hours) in courses related directly to child care and/or child development AND 1 year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center OR Completion of credentialing programs approved by DCFS You will be required to send your college transcripts or credentials to preschool@stmarkswashington.org before an interview will be scheduled. Top candidates will have a strong desire to help children develop to their fullest potential, fostering the growth and development of the whole child- the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual.
