Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties:
  • Implement lesson plans that promote learning and development in accordance with the daycare's curriculum
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
  • Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication regarding their child's progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting good eating habits
  • Administer basic first aid when needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience in childcare or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • Familiarity with early childhood education methods
  • Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
Skills:
  • Babysitting experience
  • Knowledge of childhood development
  • Special education background is a plus
  • Familiarity with daycare regulations and standards
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles
  • Ability to manage behavior effectively
  • Proficient in childcare duties such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.
  • First aid certification is preferred We offer competitive pay based on experience.
