Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team! In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a nurturing environment where young children thrive, learn, and feel valued every day. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers' needs, incorporating early literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment. Foster strong communication with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences. Ensure safety by adhering to child welfare policies and mandated reporting laws; maintain a clean and organized classroom. Support individual learning needs through specialized instruction in early intervention or special education when necessary. Collaborate with team members to develop lesson plans that promote active engagement and independent learning. Maintain accurate documentation of children's development and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Requirements Completed Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education Pass all required background checks Pass required drug screen Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in early childhood education preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Experience with classroom management, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices. Ability to work full-time during standard operating hours; flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom environment.
