Enchanted Beginnings & Preschool, a Paths to Quality Level 3 early learning center , is seeking a reliable, caring, and flexible Daycare Assistant / Float to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting multiple classrooms by assisting teachers, maintaining ratios, covering breaks, and helping ensure a safe and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in early childhood education with growth potential.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities Supervise children to ensure safety at all times Help maintain compliance with Indiana licensing regulations Support classrooms during teacher breaks and absences Help with meals, snacks, and clean-up Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment Engage positively with children through play and learning Follow center policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Required:

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass background check Reliable transportation Dependable and punctual Preferred (but not required): Childcare experience CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework CPR/First Aid certification

Schedule:

Part-Time Monday-Friday Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 5:30
