We are looking for teachers who have a heart for ministering to children. We offer training and opportunities for staff development as well as discounted childcare for your own children. Job Description Implement an already developed preschool curriculum, in well-supplied classrooms that incorporate biblical components as well as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), while collaborating with other teachers and communicating effectively with parents. Teachers are required to represent an active faith. Essential Job Functions
- Supervise and manage daily functions for classroom
- Comply with state daycare and registered ministry preschool guidelines
- Organize indoor/outdoor, quiet/active activities that are age-appropriate
- Builds and maintains relationships with families to foster communication
- Maintain classroom equipment for the purpose of safety
- Uses developmentally appropriate problem-solving techniques with children
- Participates in workshops or meetings to obtain a minimum of 20 training hours annually. Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (or related field) and or equivalent, or an approved educational plan for an Associate Degree or higher.
- Minimum of 1-year prior experience working with children of similar ages in a classroom environment.
