Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children. Deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and childhood development principles. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective classroom management techniques. Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, mandated reporting laws, and health regulations. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math instruction, physical activities, and behavioral management. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Classroom management experience that fosters a positive learning environment for toddlers and preschoolers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or special education are a plus.
