Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play, exploration, and structured activities. Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times. Manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a positive environment that encourages social skills and behavior management. Monitor children's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development and milestones. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care in collaboration with specialists when necessary. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and any incidents or concerns to ensure smooth classroom operations. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently to emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to foster collaborative relationships with parents, colleagues, and children.
