In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere will help lay the foundation for each child's future success. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies Conduct child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques Engage children in hands-on activities that support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards at all times Prepare lesson plans aligned with educational standards and standardized testing requirements to monitor student progress Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and young learners Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and curriculum development Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and Montessori methods is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare and behavior management is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundational skills they need to thrive!
