Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and developmental goals. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, organized, and inclusive environment conducive to learning and play. Help supervise children during activities, meals, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times. Implement instructional strategies that promote literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development tailored to various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Collaborate with educators on student assessment data to monitor progress, identify needs for academic interventions, and support individualized learning plans. Use learning technology tools and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to document activities, track developmental milestones, and communicate with parents or guardians effectively. Manage behavior using conflict management techniques while fostering positive behavior management strategies consistent with educational regulations and compliance standards. Requirements Prior experience working with children in childcare, preschool settings, or early childhood education environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and assessment-driven instruction methods. Familiarity with Special Education practices, Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to perform quantitative analysis for student progress evaluation and adapt instructional approaches accordingly. Experience teaching math, literacy education, physical education, or library services within early childhood or elementary settings is advantageous.
