Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Expansion Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of high-quality pre-kindergarten programs, focusing on expanding access to early learning opportunities for young children. Responsibilities Design and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum (Children Explore the World) that aligns with early childhood standards, emphasizing literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead classroom activities that promote active engagement, curiosity, and positive behavior management strategies. Implement classroom management techniques to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from diverse backgrounds. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, assess student progress through standardized testing and formative assessments, and adapt instruction as needed. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments. Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and coordination with specialists in early intervention or special education when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies tailored for preschool-aged children. Experience teaching literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and social-emotional skills. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners; excellent interpersonal skills are vital. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is required. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that support child welfare and foster a love of learning. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is a plus. Must hold a 4 Year Degree in any field (Early Childhood/ Education degree preferred, but all degrees are considered). Pay:

$65,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
