Previously serving families in Laurel, Maryland, we are hiring an experienced Lead Child Care Teacher for our new location. This is an opportunity to join an established program and take a leadership role in building a high-quality classroom environment from the ground up. Flexible shifts are available during our operating hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Responsibilities Lead and manage a classroom environment Develop and implement age-appropriate activities Ensure compliance with MSDE and Office of Child Care regulations Supervise assistant teachers and support staff Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment Qualifications Must meet Maryland
MSDE/OCC
requirements for Lead Teacher 90-hour certification required 3 clock hours of approved ADA training preferred Approved Maryland basic health and safety training preferred Prior childcare center experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong leadership and communication skills
