Byron Center, MI Pay:
$17- 21 per hour, based on experience and credentials
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to create a warm, responsive classroom for our youngest learners. Our Infant Lead Teachers combine attentive care with meaningful early learning experiences. Through individualized routines, sensory exploration, movement, and positive interactions, you'll help babies feel safe and secure while supporting important developmental milestones. What You'll Do Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom Provide responsive care while following individualized feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Previous professional childcare or early childhood education experience strongly preferred Infant classroom experience preferred Lead Teacher experience is a plus CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials preferred Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented Must meet applicable Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer $17- 21 per hour, based on experience and credentials Full-time Monday-Friday schedule Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching team Opportunities for continued career growth Apply today to join The Learning Experience and help give our youngest learners a safe, nurturing, and engaging start.
