Childcare Worker at Hager Park Church

• Jenison, Michigan Part-Time | On-Site | 2 hours/week (Wednesdays, 9:15-11:15 AM) Hager Park Church is looking for a caring, reliable person to join our child care team during our Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study.

We love offering this service so young moms can get a break and connect with others — and we need a second helper to make it work well. The role You'll help supervise and care for infants and young children while their mothers attend Bible Study. It's a small, warm environment — think more playdate than formal daycare. What you'll do

• Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities;
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment throughout the session;
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs as required;
• Coordinate with the lead childcare worker to keep things running smoothly What we're looking for
• Comfortable and experienced with infants and toddlers
• Reliable — Wednesdays from 9:15 to 11:15 AM are a must
• Patient, warm, and genuinely enjoys being around young children
• Ability to pass a background check and complete the Ministry Safe Sexual Abuse Awareness Training video.

Schedule and commitment This is a paid, part-time position. We currently need coverage for 13 weeks this semester and 18 weeks next semester, every Wednesday morning. Please email Carol at carol@hagerpark.org if interested and for more information.
