Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a positive classroom environment by applying effective behavior management and classroom management techniques. Deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles, including toddler care and preschool teaching strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address concerns. Conduct assessments aligned with childhood development standards and standardized testing when applicable to monitor student progress. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety. Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, managing classroom supplies, and supervising children during activities. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development instruction, and special education needs. Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and collaboration with colleagues. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in childhood development or behavior management are a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices to ensure student safety. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
