Job Description

Preschool Teacher (3-Year-Old Program)
Location:
St. William Catholic School - Walled Lake, MI 48390 St. William Catholic School is a vibrant and growing Catholic community committed to helping our students Encounter, Grow, and give Witness to the love of Jesus Christ in their daily lives. Rooted in the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church, we partner with families to form joyful missionary disciples who are equipped for their sacred mission. We are currently seeking a Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old program. This position is ideal for a passionate and nurturing educator who feels called to work with young children during their most formative years. The ideal candidate will integrate faith, love, and learning in a play-based, developmentally appropriate classroom.
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education (ZA/ZS endorsement) or an Associate's Degree or higher in Child Development or a related field Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate or Child Development Credential Practicing Catholic preferred and willing to model Catholic Christian values Catechist Certification (or willingness to obtain through the Archdiocese of Detroit) Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Commitment to fostering a safe, faith-filled, and academically nurturing classroom environment
Responsibilities Include:
Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities Promoting social-emotional, spiritual, and academic growth in young children Collaborating with colleagues and families to support student development Demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a strong sense of mission If you are an enthusiastic educator who desires to make a difference in the lives of young children while sharing the love of Christ, we would love to meet you.
