Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Teacher to join our vibrant toddler and preschool classroom. This paid position is ideal for individuals who possess college credits in early childhood education or related fields and are eager to inspire young minds. As a key member of our educational team, you will create a nurturing faithful environment that promotes child development, literacy, social skills, and early learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities. Manage classroom routines to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Provide individualized child development instruction, supporting early intervention efforts when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure the safety of all children through first aid and CPR certification adherence. Support children's social-emotional growth through behavior management techniques and nurturing interactions. Document lesson plans, student assessments, and progress reports to track developmental milestones and prepare for standardized testing where applicable. Qualifications Possess college credits in early childhood education, child development, or related fields; coursework in special education or early intervention is highly desirable. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young children. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality regarding student information. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
