Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Deliver child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Maintain accurate documentation of child progress, classroom activities, and adherence to mandated reporting laws for child welfare. Ensure safety by following health protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures while maintaining a clean and organized classroom setting. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs. Knowledge of childhood development milestones. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are highly desirable.
