Role:

Northbridge Child Development Center in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Toddler Aid to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children during their most formative years. Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging toddlers in age-appropriate activities Support daily routines including meals, nap time, diapering, and potty training Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space Follow all childcare licensing regulations and center policies

Requirements:

Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred Basic understanding of early childhood development principles Ability to pass a background check as required by Minnesota childcare licensing CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Patient, compassionate, and energetic demeanor Strong communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood education a plus
